On Monday we lost a true giant of sustainable business, Ray Anderson the Founder and Chairman of Interface passed away after a long battle with cancer.
Members of The Sustainability Coalition know Ray’s story well. Interface is held up in our workshops as a case study for how business can use sustainability to innovate and transform an industry. We also look at Anderson’s leadership to see how our own companies can inspire and motivate our stakeholders to embrace the systems conditions and be a participant in creating a sustainable business.
We will miss Ray Anderson and the energy and enthusiasm with which he told the sustainable business story. But his lessons live on and we at The Sustainability Coalition will continue to learn from this incredible man and his journey up “Mount Sustainability”.
